Uisce Beatha

This piece can currently be seen in the Haen Gallery in Brevard, NC.

Uisce Beatha (ISH-ka baaha) is the Irish phrase for “water of life.” The body of the piece is created of steel, intentionally rusted and sealed, with triple spiral cast iron panel insets and finished with one long cast iron piece which reflects Ogham letters, an ancient Celtic script.
